About the Author

When Lisa writes, she is happiest inventing stories for children. Tyger Lilly is a deft weaving of fact and fiction, and Lisa hopes readers will discover there really was a Roufus-tailed Tuft, and the Bali tiger did exist until one fateful day. Before writing Tyger Lilly, Lisa wrote more than one hundred comic book stories and drew storyboards for Marvel Comics, DC Comics and Harvey Comics and wrote a syndicated daily and Sunday comic strip appearing in over fifty newspapers nationally and internationally. Lisa has also been published by Golden Books and Houghton Mifflin. Her work for children and parents has won many awards, including several Parent’s Choice Awards, National Parenting Center Award, iParenting HOT Media Award and NAPPA Gold. Lisa lives with many animals, including one hamster, two rabbits, one dog, two boys and one man. Some of the real characters in Tyger Lilly are Zelda the bunny and Valentine the miniature shark.
