About the Author

KAREN EHRHARDT doesn't play an instrument and can't sing a lick. But she's probably listening to music right now, at her home in the California redwoods, with her husband David and their dog Wylie. This is her first book for children.

R.G. ROTH studied drawing and painting at the Rhode Island School of Design. His award-winning work has been displayed in New York City. Though a native of the historic whaling village Cold Spring Harbor, New York, he now lives with his wife, two daughters, and their dog Moxie in a 1850s period home in Hudson, Ohio.
