Landscapes of Poems is a reader-friendly anthology for Grade 12 Second Additional Language learners, and is based on the Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement. It provides learners and educators with insight into Southern African poems as well as a better understanding of others from around the world. Blanche Scheffler has been a teacher, examiner, moderator, writer and co-compiler of English textbooks. She has published short stories, poetry and plays. Andries Oliphant is a writer, playwright, academic, literary theorist, arts and culture policy developer, and cultural leader. Well known as an editor, he has over the years also been Assistant Editor of the Journal of Literary Studies, Editor of Staffrider Magazine and for Ravan Press and the Publishing House of the Congress of SA Writers.
Eva Bogiages taught English for 25 years at various schools in Pretoria. She started The Tuition Centre in order for students to gain acceptance into tertiary education institutions. The centre offers extra lessons in English, Afrikaans, maths, physical science, accounting and biology for students aged 13-18.
