About the Author

Angie Healy is a high school English teacher at Flower Mound High School in Texas. A graduate of Arizona State University, she has worked in the education field for the past twelve years as a middle school teacher, preschool director, and senior high teacher. She is the mother of the two young boys photographed in her book. Her biggest and most rewarding challenge in life has been the birth of her son Gavin; she finds him fascinating. He has enabled her to see life through different eyes and has helped her to become a better teacher.
