About the Author

Born and raised in New Jersey, Heather Spergel spent her younger years performing on Broadway and in television commercials. Heather has an M.S. in Community Counseling and is now a gluten-free,
attachment parenting, creative, and busy mom of two children. Heather finds inspiration for her writing from her childhood experiences, and from her children.

As a chiropractor, I offer both traditional and cutting ed-ge non-force technique approaches to treat and heal all types of musculoskeletal conditions. As a board certified clinical nutritionist, I treat a wide variety of acute and chronic conditions with nutrients and natural medicines.

Anita Martino wanted to be a ballerina and artist since the age of five. Refusing to wear a tutu, she settled on the art thing. Quite frequently, Anita can be found seeking inspiration at one of her favorite three happy places, Barnes and Noble, Princeton University, or any coffee shop with hot chai and live music. She resides in New Jersey outside of Philadelphia. This is her second published work as a children's book illustrator, and she didn't have to don a tutu.
