About the Author

Elizabeth Millard is the co-owner of Bossy Acres, a 60-member, community-supported agriculture farm in Minnesota. She is a frequent lecturer on indoor vegetable and herb gardening and leads many workshops on these subjects. She has a BA from Harvard University and as a rofessional writer and researcher has worked as senior editor for ComputerUser magazine and written for many national high-tech publications. She worked for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s book publishing arm for nine years and has contributed articles recently to Hobby Farm Home, Urban Farm magazine, and several gardening-related publications. Bossy Acres provides fresh microgreens year-round to many of the top restaurants in the Twin Cities area.
