In the midst of a whirlwind of screaming fans, buzzing reporters, and clicking photographers, Kim Kardashian West visited the Upper East Side Barnes & Noble to promote her new book, Selfish, a collection of fun, personable, and even racy selfies. (Husband Kanye helped her edit it!) We snuck in three questions with her, and of course we asked her about books.
What is your favorite book to read with North?
North loves books; she reads dozens of books a day. There is one about a frog and his name is “Leap.” I can’t remember what it’s called, but it’s her favorite.
When you walk into a big, beautiful Barnes & Noble, which section do you visit first?
I used to go to Barnes and Noble all the time. I’d go to the one in City Mall every weekend. I used to like the self-help section and I always liked the motivational books. But now I like to read life-after-death books. Books about near-death experiences.
If we started a Kim Kardashian book club, which book would you have us all read?
I really lovedĀ Tuesdays with Morrie.
