6 Books that Celebrate Apple Picking Season!
‘Tis the season…for picking apples! When the air starts to turn crisp, and the days get a bit shorter, one of the things I look forward to most (aside from fall fashion) is apple season! Granny Smiths, Galas, Fujis, I love them all! Going apple picking with friends and family and bringing home bushels of freshly picked fruit for pies, or jams, or to slather with peanut butter is one of my all time favorite September activities. In honor of this very nutritious and delicious fruit, here are a selection of great apple-themed picture and board books to get your youngster in the apple picking spirit!
