Meet the Writers on Poured Over: 2023 Book of the Year Finalists
The only thing a bookseller loves more than talking about books with another reader is talking about books with an author. We launched our Poured Over podcast in June 2021 with one of our favorite writers, Maggie O’Farrell, riffing on her wildly original novel, Hamnet, which was just out in paperback. Since then, we’ve delivered another 320+ episodes with authors like Zadie Smith, Rick Riordan, Jacqueline Woodson, and Alice McDermott as well as Book of the Year finalists David Grann, R.F. Kuang, James McBride, Jesmyn Ward, Katy Hessel and Amanda Peters. This is a show full of surprising riffs, candid conversations, plenty of laughter and more from big name authors and those on their way to being big names.
Come check us out if you’re a reader who pores over details, obsesses over sentences and ideas, lingers over stories and character. You can find us on your favorite podcast app, stream the show on our B&N Reads blog, or watch on B&N’s YouTube channel.
New episodes of Poured Over drop Tuesdays and Thursdays (with occasional Saturdays).
