Rumors can finally be put to rest now that the Hunger Games prequel is here. We know we’re all going to have a lot of questions and feelings – BIG FEELINGS – once we’re done. And that’s OK, we’ve got you covered. We know the best part of reading (especially for a highly anticipated series return) is the lively conversation that follows. Swapping theories, possible metaphors and opinions is great, but a chance to do all that and engage with the co-editors of Songbirds and Snakes, David Levithan and Kate Egan, is a whole other level.
So, join us Live on B&N Instagram (@barnesandnoble) for a bonus YA book club event Friday, May 29th at 7PM ET. David Levithan and Kate Egan will be here to discuss all things Hunger Games and The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes as well as answering your questions.
And you’re not the only ones with questions. Here are a few things we’d like to know:
What was your first reaction when Suzanne told you she was writing a prequel?
And
What was the best part of the editing process – and how hard was it to not to spill the beans?
And
Is this the last glimpse we’ll get into the life of Coriolanus Snow??
Be sure to check out David’s exciting message to fans and submit your questions for discussion through our event posts on Instagram or live during the event in the Instagram comments, and as always, follow along with #BNYABookClub. Let us know what you’re thinking, and we’ll see you on the 29th!
