9 Indispensable YA Brother Stories
Chances are that last month your Facebook feed exploded with photos of your friends posing with their brothers and/or sisters. Why? It was National Sibling Day, and hey, you’re on social media. So wedged in between everyone’s TimeHop photos and Instagrammed lunches were old snapshots galore, shouting out beloved siblings.
Hopefully you and your lil’ (or older!) bro had plenty of fun adventures growing up, so a shoutout on Facebook was the least you could do. But maybe next year on National Sibling Day, you could buy them a book, in addition to posting a sweet picture?
Just sayin’, books are pretty awesome gifts. And to my sister, if you’re reading this, I’ve got a wishlist to share. Here’s a whole stack of great YA reads about brothers.

In The Demon’s Lexicon, Brennan introduces readers to Nick and his older brother, Alan, two demon slayers with a complicated family life. Their father is dead, and their mother’s quite crazy. The two have been on the run their entire life, owing to a charm their mother stole, and are incredibly loyal to one another. There are no secrets between them, except…maybe there are.
