Sheri Roberts is an occupational/hand therapist who has been practicing at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, since 1988, and has dealt daily with those who are laden with illness, injury, and disability. She is well-versed in the art of engaging her patients in activities with a goal of restoration or adaptation in mind. The inspiration for Live to Fly…was in response to her daughter Lucy’s request for her to make up a story about a bird. Her quest to find the most interesting and impressive bird led to the albatross as the only choice. This will be Sheri’s first children’s book, however, her book on anatomy has been published by Denoyer Geppert Science International.
