John B. Allan is a well-known article writer whose work has appeared in the nation's leading magazines. He was born in Chicago, attended the University of Chicago and soon afterward began devoting his energies to freelance writing. He served with the Army in World War II and was a legman and special assistant to a prominent writer on Hollywood subjects and people.
