My name is L. L. Walters and my favorite time of the year is Christmas. This book was inspired by the fact that I refuse to wrap a Christmas present if I am not totally in the holiday spirit. Each night, I sit in the floor with the sounds of the holidays playing, do nothing but smile and force myself to think happy thoughts as I wrap each gift of the season, with the hope that my joy will be passed on to the one who opens it for the entire year. I am the mother of 3 as well as the grandmother of 3 so I understand that every person is different. Every one requires a unique approaches to make them flourish to become the best they can. It is my belief that it is the job of every caregiver to figure out what makes someone "shine" and encourage those aspects, to help them grow stronger, both as human beings and as individuals. Christmas is the magical time when this can easily be achieved and everyone involved can go to sleep at night with a smile upon their face. My goal is to give another opportunity to take advantage of the magical season, to make some memories along the way and use this time to better understand others in your life. You may be just be surprised at what you discover about others (or yourself) along the way. ?
