About the Author

Dr. Marc C. David is a native of Columbia, South Carolina and began his tenure as an educator while serving as a teacher aide in a public high school. He earned a B.A. degree in English from Morehouse College, a M.A. degree in English from North Carolina Central University, and a Ph.D. Degree in English Education from Syracuse University.

Dr. David has worked as a professor of English, retention coordinator, director of undergraduate studies, assistant dean of multicultural affairs, dean of students, and division chair of religion and humanities. He is currently serving as Associate Vice President of Arts and Sciences at Florence-Darlington Technical College.

Dr. David has received various honors including teacher of the year, appointment as faculty liaison to the Board of Trustees at Morris College, appointment to the Board of Directors for the Martin Luther King, Jr. Charter School in New Orleans, Who’s Who Among Faculty and Administrators, and numerous service awards. He has also presented at local and national conferences, published several articles, and selected as keynote speaker at a number of events. Coming Full Circle: Memoirs of a Campus Life Dean is Dr. David’s first novel. If you enjoy autobiographies, journals, and diaries, you will enjoy reading this work.
