Dr. Vairona Mikhail (Sharmokh) is an engineer and an optometrist who graduated with a BS in engineering science from New Jersey Institute of Technology and an OD in optometry from SUNY College of Optometry. She has been practicing optometry since 2002.

Excelling in literature and a previous teacher volunteer, Dr. Vairona is presently writing children's books and adult ebooks. A mother of two who presently home tutors her preschooler and toddler; she is experienced in the early learning stages of child development. She has also tutored high school students and taught English as a second language to adults.
