About the Author

Hossein Tirgan was born and raised in Tehran. He lived there throughout the 1979 revolution, and through much of the Iran-Iraq war. Since his relocation to the United States many years ago, New York City has become his home away from home. It is here that Hossein continues to practice medicine, the profession he began studying in Iran and refined in the United States.
