About the Author

Jennifer Lynn Alvarez received a degree in English literature from the University of California at Berkeley. She blogs about her books and the publishing business and speaks regularly at schools about creative writing. She lives on a small ranch in Northern California with her husband, three children, and their horses. When writing her books, she draws on her lifelong love of animals for inspiration.

Andrew Eiden has been acting since the age of four, working at regional theaters including La Mirada Theatre, the Glendale Center Theatre, and the Pasadena Playhouse.
