Joy Doesn't Come Easy
John never really thought about what it meant to have joy. Maybe that was because he had it and didn’t need to think about it. He was a little kid. What did he have to worry about? He had a dad and mom, sisters and brothers, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins…and they all loved him. he was safe, comfortable, didn’t have to worry about anything…yep, I think that’s about as joyful as a kid can get.

But now he was a teenager and his world got turned upside down when his older brother was shot and killed in Afghanistan while on patrol. Sorrow overwhelmed him.

It took a visit from some veterans to his school to turn his sorrow into joy.

All of my books are written to exemplify a strong Christian Value.

About the Author

I have been a professional photographer for over 30 years and an amateur writer for almost just as long. Of all that I am a Christian first. I have a loving wife and son that share in my faith. I’ve always felt that God works in the hearts and minds of children just as much as he works in the hearts and minds of adults.

Writing children's books with a strong Christian value as the underling theme has been a great way for me to help children begin their journey into adulthood and except Jesus Christ as their savior.
