About the Author

In "Snippets from World War II," Ken Forrester combines his love of writing with reminisces in that war, to offer rare insights into military service. Ken Forrester, now 89, served in the Army Air Corps in the Pacific from April, 1943, to March, 1946. He has poignant memories of Spam, Japanese internees, the Japanese-American service unit (the most decorated in military history), and women pilots, and a few things he never told his mother about.
