GREEN LIGHT... GO! ~~ TO JUMP START READING ~~ A REMEDIAL READING PROGRAM FOR SUCCESS ~~ BOOK ONE ~~ "COME AND PLAY"
Kindergarten kids, first-grade friends, preschool pals, catch-up kids, and ESL students can all benefit from this "Green Light... GO!" series. It's fun to read and easy to do.

Words in this illustrated book: Come, Tom, can, see, I, and, Tess, a, me, cat, play, we, YAY!, look, dog.

The fifteen words in this book are set in short phrases and sentences and are coordinated with entertaining illustrations so that the reader feels as though he is really reading MORE than he actually is. He says the word for the picture, as well as the actual words set in print, in some of the book's chapters.

This series provides practice with easy reading for students who need a structured program of repeated vocabulary to enable them to learn to read. Yes, some beginning readers need to read a word over and over to move it into short-term memory; and then review is required to retain the learned words. By the time a student has succeeded in gaining long-term memory of the vocabulary, he may have practiced reading a book many times. If a beginning reader can remember a few words well, there is hope that he will become a proficient reader.

I am an educator who specializes in teaching special-needs students and writing reading programs to suit their learning styles.
