Professor of Art History, and Chairperson Department of Cultural Studies, and Coordina- tor of Art History, Interdisciplinary and Intercollegiate Studies University of Massachusetts Lowell, Liana De Girolami Cheney specialized in the Renaissance and Mannerism in Italy. She has written a book called Self-Portraits by Women Painters, published in 2009 and will release a complete study about Giorgio Vasari this year.
