About the Author

John C. Sulak (San Francisco, CA) is co-author of Modern Pagans. Inspired by journalists like Studs Terkel, Hunter Thompson, Tom Wolfe, and Legs McNeil, it was his idea and calling to tell The Wizard and the Witch in the oral history format.

Oberon Zell-Ravenheart (Cotati, CA) is a co-founder of the Church of All Worlds (1967), founded Green Egg magazine (1968), is the founder and headmaster of the Grey School of Wizardry, and has written or co-written six books on Neopaganism. A regular at Starwood Festival and INATS, Oberon has appeared in The Daily Mail, Witches & Pagans, PanGaia, and on the radio and television programs Coast to Coast AM and Hidden America.

Morning Glory Zell-Ravenheart (Cotati, CA) is a Witch, Priestess, and Goddess historian. A published poet, songwriter, and author, she was an acknowledged consultant for Marion Zimmer Bradley's The Mists of Avalon.

Carl Llewellyn Weschcke (Minnesota) was the owner and chairman of Llewellyn Worldwide, the world's oldest and largest metaphysical publisher. He played a seminal role in the rise of Wicca and Neo-Paganism in the 1960s and 1970s and has been called "the father of New Age" for his public sponsorship of occult subjects. Weschcke also served as the 7th Past Grand Master Ordo Aurum Solis.
