Born and raised in the small town of Ficksburg, South Africa, his love for the English tongue eventually led him to literature. When he is not writing, he picks up a camera and makes short films or the occasional still photograph. But without fail, he always comes back to literature. He sometimes indulges in scriptwriting, but without fail, he always comes back to prose.
