Chapter One

There was once an intelligent little girl named Rayne. She was a self-centered little girl who would spend many hours looking at herself in the mirror. She believed everything was always about her. Rayne would look in the mirror and imagine she was a queen with many servants. She would envision her dog Lulu and her dolls as her servants. Rayne's overactive imagination would lead her on many adventurous journeys.

She would often fantasize visiting the desert, the jungle, or the Arctic—even going into space!

One day she decided to go on one of her many fictitious trips. "Hmmm," Rayne mumbled to herself, "where should I go today?" She decided to walk and see where the road would lead her.

Rayne hopped, she skipped, she ran, and she walked. As she was walking, she met a cow. "Hello, what is your name?" said Rayne to the cow.

The cow replied, "My name is Cora the cow. And what is your name?"

She responded proudly, "My name is Rayne, your queen, and I am the queen water supplier of the world."

"What a silly name for a little girl," Cora reacted with laughter. She laughed so hard milk began to spurt out her nose. "Hee, hee! Ha, ha! Moo, moo! Why do they call you Rayne, why are you my queen, and why are you the queen water supplier of the world?" Cora asked sarcastically.

Rayne answered with arrogance in her voice, "They call me Rayne because I am the queen water supplier of the world. I provide water for the grass to grow strong, so you can have food to eat. Without me, the grass would not get watered, and it would wilt. If the grass is wilted, it does not grow, and therefore you cannot eat. That is why I am your queen and the queen water supplier of the world."

Cora continued to laugh hysterically. Cora then said to Rayne, "You are the most condescending little girl and have the most preposterous imagination. Go along before I lose all of my milk from laughter."

Rayne became furious with the cow. Rayne thought, "How dare Cora laugh at me? Doesn't she know how important I am? My name is Rayne, and I am the queen water supplier of the world."

Rayne continued on her walk to see where the road would lead her. Rayne hopped, she skipped, she ran, and she walked. As she was walking, she met a dolphin. "Hello, what is your name?" said Rayne to the dolphin.

The dolphin replied, "My name is Dale the dolphin. And what is your name?"

She responded proudly, "My name is Rayne, your queen, and I am the queen water supplier of the world."

"What a silly name for a little girl, Dale reacted with laughter. He laughed so hard he almost choked on the ocean's water. "Hee, hee! Ha, ha! Blurp, blurp! Why do they call you Rayne, why are you my queen, and why are you the queen water supplier of the world?" Dale asked sarcastically.
