SurrealScapes is body art and creative fine art photography. The artwork showcased in this book was created by projecting 35mm slides onto live models and then photographing the result. Everything was done live and in-camera. This "lightpainting" technique combines two-dimensional art with live photography to produce images that couldn't have been created any other way. The models form living canvases, and as they move, the projected images wrap around their bodies and take on new shapes and forms, bringing out a multitude of picture possibilities and making this art form a dynamic and vibrant process. For each photograph in this book, the corresponding projection image is shown, allowing you to see how the projected image combined with the model's body to form the final result.
