Lisa Scordino was born in Niagara Falls and raised in Hamilton, Ontario. She received an honors degree in French Language and Literature from McMaster University and later obtained her Masters in Education from Niagara University in Lewiston, NY. Currently, she teaches French with the local school board.

Andrea Miminas (née Acciaroli) is a native of Hamilton, Ontario. After running her own business and managing several others, she became a civil employee of the local police department until a car accident in 2001. Currently, she is convalescing at home with the help of her husband and two sons.

These lifelong best friends still live in the Ti-Cat steel-town with their families. When they aren’t sequestered in the ‘cave’ (a.k.a. the not so tricked-out den) plotting their next writing adventure, they’re at the gym working off the previous night’s batch of taste tests. After all, ya can’t expect to eat all that candy without major consequences, so we fight excess poundage by pumping iron!
