20 year old Carissa Miller is a part time writer, full time Arabic student who longs to be absolutely proficient in either language. She spends most of her time studying the aforementioned language, and when she isn't doing that, she hobbles on down to the beach for a quick splash and a hopeless grin before clobbering the (albeit small) climb back to her apartment.
