About the Author

Jay Cannon grew up in Muskegon Heights, Michigan. He knew that he was hooked on science fiction when he use to run home from Junior High to catch the original episodes of Star Trek. He dreamed of being in space and working on air craft carriers during his six-year stint in the Navy made him feel like he was on one of the Star Trek starships. While in the Navy he played Star Trek on a Heathkit computer and learned to program by hacking the game. After leaving the Navy he spent the next 30 years as a programmer before returning to his love for science fiction by writing a book.
