Overview

"This blend of science fiction and juvenile delinquency films has a widescreen (anamorphic) transfer with an aspect ratio of 1.66:1. The English-only audio track is in Dolby Digital 2.0 Mono and the subtitles are available in English only. The print itself shows minor pixelation and fade, but overall the Deluxe color is stunning. There is a choice of two indexed commentary tracks. One features producer Jack Harris and film historian Bruce Eder. The other features the director Irvin S. Yeaworth Jr. and actor Robert Fields. Both have some pauses in dialogue, but their easygoing styles make them equally enjoyable. An anamorphic theatrical trailer is available. The feature section ""Blob-abilia"" found in the animated menu is a treasure chest of stills from the collection of Blob enthusiast Wes Shank. This is an attractive package that oozes some nice extras."
