About the Author

David G. Brown is a man who wears many hats, but prefers the simple felt of his Resistol cowboy hat. He has gained national fame as a writer and best-selling author but, he has appeared in many movies and television shows as an actor, and performed all across the country riding bucking horses at professional rodeos. Brown is retired from the FAA, where he worked as an air traffic controller, at Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Reno, and Seattle Enroute Center. Today, Brown owns Remington Entertainment, Inc., which is composed of a film production company, a talent management company, and the Remington Photography Studios. But, no matter whether he is producing a film, working with actors, or just taking high-quality commercial photographs, he is still just a simple, dirt- n-sweat cowboy. As an author, Brown has published several books, including the original 1987 release of Gold Buckle Dreams - the Rodeo Life of Chris LeDoux, for which he was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize. In addition, he co-authored a humorous book titled You Don't Have to be Dumb to be Stupid, with comedian Bill Engvall ("Here's Your Sign"). As a writer, Brown has been published in more than a dozen major national magazines, from U.S. News and World Report to Western Horseman. He has also had stories run on the AP and UPI newswires that have been published in thousands of newspapers and periodicals throughout the world. He has also written several screenplays and teleplays. Author, actor, writer, photographer, air traffic controller; all of these could accurately describe David Brown. But no title fits him so well as "Cowboy."
