Wrong Roads
Wrong Roads is the story of Billy Wilson, a teenager whose faith has begun to waiver watching all the "fun" his friends are having. he decides to join the "fun" on his eighteenth birthday by going to a nightclub and getting drunk. That one mistake causes many problems in his life, including accusations of being gay, getting badly beaten up, and having to leave town with his best friend Tony Jackson.
They journey from a small town in Iowa and meet a man named Gus Klepper, in Colorado who owns a horse ranch. Gus offers the boys jobs, living and working on the ranch, which they accept. Gus turns out to be a wonderful man, a great example and good friend.
The reoccurring theme to the story is, all of our actions have consequences, some of which can change our lives forever.
