Owen Wilson’s family originally hailed from Massachusetts, USA, and is of Irish extraction.
His father, Robert now operated a public television station in Dallas, Texas where Owen and his brothers were born and his mother Laura is a photographer.
Robert also happened to work as an advertising executive. Owen is the second child of three.
