Sinister Detective Stories: 7 Thrilling and Popular Detective Pulp Fiction shorts
J.S. Endicott was a House Name used by Better Publications Inc. for their Popular Detective and Thrilling Detective magazines. These following stories may have been written by one author, or seven different authors. The publication of the Pulp Magazines were all about filling space in time for the deadline. Often times an author would end up with more than one story in the same issue, and to avoid repeated bylines, the practice was to attribute the second story to a pseudonym of the author or a house name.
