Oh, That Pig
Let me have your toes!
This little piggy went to the market,
This little piggy stayed home,
This little piggy had roast beef,
And this little piggy had none,
And this little piggy went wee, wee, wee, all the way home
All babies love to play the piggy toe game.
And our first grandbaby Lacey was no exception.
She loved it and always wanted more.
And thus began the pig stories.
When she came to stay with us, she got a pig story every night.
When she was four years old, her cousin McKenna came on the scene and fell right into line with the stories. When it was time for bed the little Piggies went into action. At two and a half her cousin Ben joined us and he later went to sleep with the tale of those pigs! His cousin, our last granddaughter Preslee came along two years later and she loved the bed time ritual as well. She even helped with a few stories of her own. They each one had their favorite and would request which one they wanted each night. They have outgrown them now but wanted to keep their four favorite tales of those piggy people alive!
Love my babies! What memories!
