"This book is outstanding - it provides the ideal coffee table, conversation making, trip planning photo-journal for every overlander's household! About the Author

Just one book, written jointly with Peter Travers. Our objective in writing the book was to enable others to share the sights and adventures of our journey - the Sahara is an extraordinarily interesting and dramatically colourful part of the world, but few people will ever have a chance to see it. Peter and I were senior executives in large New Zealand corporations prior to the Sahara journey, and have worked since then as independent Directors of public and private companies.

Peter is a retired banker, and a keen traveller. This is his only book, but he has undertaken several overland travel journeys.
