A tormented hit man (Sam Worthington) is assigned to kill a young woman (Odeya Rush), but finds himself unable to do the deed. The pair then end up on the run in Europe, as they work together to evade assassins and get revenge on those responsible for the murder of her parents. Based on the novel For the Dogs by Kevin Wignall, The Hunter's Prayer was directed by Jonathan Mostow.
