Quick Tips on How to Love Yourself Before All Others—The Loving Self Acceptance Hand book
No it doesn't mean that you're egotistical if you love yourself. Most of us just think of ourselves as just being a physical being and in fact most doctors treat us this way. Then the priest (that is if you go to church) treats us as only being spiritually oriented--a path to take later in life. Growing up we usually end up developing either the physical or the emotional self and are generally at loss about the spiritual stuff.
So we might end up liking the physical result and hating how emotionally deficient we are in that we're jealous and envious of others or just don't live up to our expectations of ourselves in personal relationships, business, and so on. Or we really get it together emotionally but have the body of a walrus (so we judge it) and are unhappy about our physical being. For most of us, this occupies our entire life-time with therapy, counseling, diets, plastic surgery, and we never even consider the spiritual side. End result--we never live up to our own expectations are always judging ourselves and often hate a large part of ourselves.
This is the one book that aids you in the integration of your spiritual, emotional and physical self. Denial of spiritual, emotional, or physical self creates an imbalance that can lead to an unbalanced self. Until one experiences self love, it's impractical to love another. Loving self is the beginning of any successful relationship.
p.s. you don't have to go to church to be spiritual and religion doesn't necessarily have anything to do with being spiritual although it could.
