About the Author

Ivan E. Hoyt lives in Wapwallopen, Pennsylvania, and is a professional folk art craftsman, best know for his hex sign disks. He is a juried member of the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen and has been selected as one of the top 200 traditional American craftsmen by Early American Life magazine. His work is in the collections of the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History and the Balch Institute of Ethnic Studies in Philadelphia.
