About the Author

Mary Bevis is the author of Wolf Song and Old Woman Winter. She divides her time between her home in the Twin Cities and her cabin in Ely, Minnesota.

Consie Powell is an artist and writer who loves to snoop in nature’s lovely untidy places, has a soft spot for predators, and sometimes finds a story that links the two.
