Overview

In this third book in the “Unicorn Files,” Michael Malone is still trying to balance his secret life of undercover assignments with his family life. His mom and sister continue to have no idea that he goes around trying to save the world and find his missing father. In fact, his mother is especially exasperated when Michael is surly and uncooperative when she starts dating again. To be fair, Michael’s mom has no idea that her husband is still alive—she has presumed he was dead for a long while. So, juggling new information about a dragon that had something to do with his father’s disappearance and his school assignments, Michael has his work cut out for him. This is a good installment for fans that have read and loved the previous two books in the action/fantasy “UFiles” series. For readers who have not read them, it may be a little confusing to grasp all the various plot points that were connected to previous editions.
