About the Author

Tony Grayson is a native of South Carolina. "I have always been an adventure seeker. As a kid, I was the one who formed a "tribe", led expeditions to find other "tribes", and roamed more than ten miles from my house. In high school, I convinced the U.S. Navy to pay for my college at The Citadel. I was a Navy Pilot and Logistician. Through the Navy and Navy Reserve, I have seen and experienced much in North, Central and South America, Europe, Southwest & Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. This story was a thrilling read and artfully told! The first four chapters fed my expectation that I would read about how the Methodists came to Virginia. Then, I read about the pirates of Edenton and I'm still studying that to see if that part of the story is true, like the Methodist part seems to be. This writer was pretty good at creating some romantic steam too, but with good taste. I can't wait to get the second book in the series!
