We are bombarded each and every day with messages in music, advertising, music in movies, on the highway, everywhere to give up, give in because it's "just a beer" and it couldn't possibly hurt you or me. This is a lie. I don't hold the golden ticket on recovery but I do have over 150,000+ hours sober and although I have changed people, places and things, alcohol is never done chasing you or me! I am here to create awareness and to let you know that your life does matter. You matter to me. There are possibly millions of books on recovery but none that I have read that are truly authentic for the Average person. This is my story of what "just a beer" took from my life as I chased a Musical Dream. God spared my life for you to be reading my words.
