About the Author

Nick Blishen worked in the electronics industry for more than 20 years as a prototype wireman, test engineer, and design draughtsman before making a major career change and going back to college to study guitar making. He then set up his own workshop, making guitars and repairing instruments for local musicians and music shops. He is a course leader and senior lecturer for a university degree course in musical instruments.
