The Americans with Disabilities Act stipulates that these individuals should have equal access to all library resources. Her audience is chiefly librarians and she explains user-friendly document design (for library home pages) and goes on to highlight large print, Braille, hearing, and different keyboard access through specific products. The last several chapters are devoted to staff training, announcing improved access, and creating plans and goals for your library. Accessible Web sites are included in the appendix, along with information on vendors, manufacturers, consultants, and exemplary special libraries.
