Each page of this beginning board book for babies and toddlers has between seven and ten pictures of animals divided into interesting categories. The “Big Eyes” section features an owl, a tree frog, and a jumping spider. In “Big Ear,” the reader sees an elephant, a rabbit and a donkey. Animals with “Long Legs” include a giraffe, a kangaroo, and a flamingo. Those with “Long Tails” show a squirrel, a peacock, and a cow. The “Funny Noses” grouping includes a toucan, an elephant, and a warthog. Animals with “Strong Teeth” feature a lion, a dog, and a crocodile. The “Hard Shells” group shows a turtle, a beetle, and an armadillo. Some animals with “Spots and Stripes” are a salamander, a zebra, and a ladybug.
