About the Author

Since 2001, John Retallack has been artistic director of Company of Angels, which produces new and experimental work for young people. John was the founding director of ATC (1978–85) and Artistic Director of Oxford Stage Company (1989–1999). He has written and directed a number of plays for his company in recent years, including Risk, Hannah and Hanna, Virgins and Wild Girl. Oberon Books also publishes John’s Company of Angels: Four Plays. companyofangels.co.uk.
Richard Milward is an English writer born in Middlesbrough in 1984. His debut novel Apples was published by Faber and Faber in 2007 to great acclaim. He has also recently published his second novel Ten Storey Love Song and is currently working on a third.
