So discovers Lucas Wade. As he breathes his last gasps of air he calls out for his long lost love, Cassidy. Once his life is spent, he awakens to find himself in the land of Eden, a place between Heaven and Hell for those souls whose final fate has not yet been decided. Here, Lucas begins a path of rediscovery and learning so that he may earn the right to enter Heaven and be reunited with Cassidy. Unbeknownst to him, before he arrives in the afterlife, unholy actions are set in motion that will thrust him into the middle of an attempt by a renegade faction of Hell to conquer Heaven without Satan.
