This book is a compendium of a large proportion of the current neurosurgical approaches and ways of thinking in neurosurgical practice.
Purpose:This book is designed to approach different aspects of neurosurgical techniques, current pathology, clinical presentation concepts, and clinical management.
Audience:Neurosurgeons, interventional neuroradiologists, and neurosurgical residents are the main audience for this book.
Features:Multiple authors contribute over 90 chapters. The topics have been carefully selected to reflect a general neurosurgeon's regular caseload, in addition to providing comprehensive discussion on subspecialty topics such as functional neurosurgery and novel shunting techniques. The book spends a fair amount of time on surgeries for complex aneurysms and tumors, surgeries that have became not only safer but also more effective. In all chapters, a comprehensive review of the topic is presented along with superb drawings and graphs and references. This is a superb piece of work that is well worth its price.
