About the Author

PATRICIA HENLEY grew up on a back road in southern Indiana. She is the author of two collections of short stories, Friday Night at Silver Star and The Secret of Cartwheels, both published by Graywolf Press. Her work has been anthologized in The Pushcart Prize Anthology, Best American Short Stories, The Last Best Place, Circle of Women, and Love Stories for the Rest of Us. She teaches in the graduate writing program at Purdue University and lives with her husband, Kip Robisch, in Battle Ground, Indiana.
